WASHINGTON - U.S. Representative Trent Kelly (R-Miss.) has been elected to serve on the House Republican Policy Committee. The committee serves as an advisory committee to House Republicans in the effort to achieve goals set forth by the party. 

"It is an honor to be elected by my Republican colleagues to serve on the House Republican Policy Committee for the 119th Congress. We will work to support and enhance legislation that will improve quality of life for Mississippians and all Americans. The citizens of our great nation have called for change. We will do everything in our power to move forward policies that lower food and energy costs and secure our borders," Rep. Kelly said.
