Kelly Announces Service Academy Appointment

WASHINGTON - U.S. Representative Trent Kelly (R-Miss.) is pleased to announce the appointment of Anastasia Winters to the U.S. Air Force Academy. Anastasia is a senior at New Hope High School in Lowndes County. She is an outstanding young person who has demonstrated a strong work ethic inside the classroom and well beyond. Anastasia has also devoted herself to community service projects, serving as a volunteer on numerous occasions. She is excited about military service. "Since I in middle school, I have known that I wanted to be a fighter pilot," Anastasia said. "I have worked hard to accomplish my goal to attend one of America's service academies." Anastasia is the daughter of Jeremy and Natalia Winters. ### |
