Congressman Trent Kelly Urges U.S. Supreme Court to Reverse Roe v. Wade

Washington, December 1, 2021
WASHINGTON - Today, U.S. Congressman Trent Kelly (R-Miss.) joined Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch on the steps of the United States Supreme Court building in Washington, D.C., in support of historic legislation passed by the Mississippi Legislature in 2018 that restricts abortions after 15 weeks. Today, U.S. Supreme Court Justices heard oral arguments from General Fitch's legal team on Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization to determine whether or not states should have the authority to restrict abortions.

"The majority of Mississippians believe the lives of the unborn must be protected," Rep. Kelly said. "Millions of babies have been aborted - children who deserved protection and a chance at life."
