Kelly Announces Service Academy Appointment

WASHINGTON - U.S. Representative Trent Kelly (R-Miss) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ben Armstrong to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. This week, Ben graduated with honors from Lewisburg High School in Olive Branch, Mississippi. He has maintained excellent grades in school while achieving great success in athletics. While in high school, Ben served as a Student Council Representative as well as the Boys Swim Team Captain. Additionally, Ben collaborated with local high schools to establish swim programs. We are proud to know that Ben wishes to serve our great Nation as an officer in the U.S. Army. "When I was in middle school, our class visited Washington, D.C., and the United States Naval Academy," Ben said. "That was when I learned about Service Academies. I knew that attending the U.S. Military Academy at West Point would provide the tools to be successful in life."
