2020 First Congressional District Art Competition

WASHINGTON - I am pleased to announce the dates for the 2020 First Congressional District Art Competition! Submissions will be accepted until April 15, 2020, and the reception will be held at Blue Mountain College on April 23, 2020. This is a great opportunity for art teachers and school districts to showcase the many talents of students in the First District. There will be one overall winner and 2nd - 6th place winners. The overall winner will have their art displayed in the United States Capitol for one year for visitors from all over the world to view. Additionally, a reception will be held in Washington, D.C., in honor of each winner from each district. The 2nd - 6th place winners will have their art displayed at each of the offices in the First District. For more information about the competition, contact Melinda.Whited@mail.house.gov.
