Kelly's Priorities for the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) FY22

Washington, September 3, 2021
Washington - The House Armed Services Committee has passed the Fiscal Year 2022 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) by a vote of 57 to 2.

"The passage of the NDAA out of the Armed Services Committee marks the next major step in ensuring that we are sustaining our victories against foreign adversaries, protecting the homeland, and providing adequate resources to the men and women of our Armed Forces," Rep. Kelly said. "H.R. 4350, the FY22 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), demonstrates how Congress can work collaboratively and focus on the common good. As the bill moves to a full House vote in the near future, I look forward to ensuring its passage and becoming law," Rep. Kelly added.

This year's bill includes several amendments that Rep. Kelly authored aimed at improving national security, efficiencies within the Department of Defense, and the quality of life of our men and women in uniform.
