FEMA Teams Meeting with Survivors in Mississippi

Mississippi, March 30, 2023
Mississippi - In the effort to enhance recovery efforts from the March 24-25 severe storms, straight-line winds, and tornadoes, FEMA Disaster Survivor Assistance (DSA) teams are going door-to-door in Carroll, Humphreys, Monroe, and Sharkey counties to help residents who want to complete disaster assistance applications and to answer questions. This service is free. DSA teams wear FEMA attire and have federal photo identification badges. For survivors who do not want to wait for a personal visit, they can apply for assistance at disasterassistance.gov, use the FEMA mobile app, or call 800-621-3362. The line is open from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m.
