Military service is an honor and a privilege. Those who choose to serve help to protect the freedoms we all enjoy. In Mississippi and across America, service is a tradition. We are thankful for the commitment of these men and women who protect our great Nation at home and across the world.
In September, it will be an honor to host Academy Day 2021. This is an opportunity for young people in Mississippi's First Congressional District to learn more about attending one of America's prestigious military academies. Service Academy and ROTC representatives will be available to answer questions which could lead to a career as an officer in the U.S. Armed Forces.
Academy Day 2021 will be held Saturday, September 25 at 10:00 a.m. at the Jackson Avenue Center located at 1111 West Jackson Avenue, Oxford, Mississippi. The session is open for all students, parents, counselors, and educators. No RSVP is required.
