Dear Friend,

One of the most rewarding facets of my job is to nominate young people from Mississippi's First Congressional District who wants to attend one of America's prestigious Service Academies. These outstanding students have excelled in academics and athletics while serving their communities. It is an honor to meet students who want to defend America as an officer in the U.S. Armed Forces. 

I look forward to hosting Academy Day 2020 and welcoming our distinguished panel of guest speakers from the United States Naval Academy, the United States Air Force Academy, the United States Military Academy, the United States Coast Guard Academy, the United States Merchant Marine Academy, the Marion Military Institute, and the ROTC program representatives from the University of Mississippi and Mississippi State University! 

Casey Miller, 2d Lt, USAF, is a 2020 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy. While at the USAFA, the Arizona native majored in biology and had the opportunity to be a member of the falconry team. Currently, he is stationed in Nashville, serving as an Admissions Advisor until he begins pilot training at Columbus Air Force Base in May 2021.
