Dear Friend,

Christmas is a time when we can spend time with family and friends. This is a season of joy and giving, and I hope that as you celebrate traditions with your family, you are able to pause and reflect on the many blessings we have been given.

As families gather around the dinner table, many will find empty seats. Our military men and women will be far away from home keeping our nation safe. Our thoughts and prayers are with those who willingly make sacrifices for the freedoms we all enjoy.

I want to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas. May God continue to bless the United States of America.

Susan Parker

A top priority for our team is for our shared values to be represented on Capitol Hill. We listen to your concerns and promote policies that represent First District interests. That is why it is so important that we keep the lines of communication open so we can make sure your voice is heard in Congress.

Susan Parker, a Lowndes County native, is our communications director. Like our other team members, she understands the importance of building and maintaining strong working relationships with constituents. You are the first to know when our team is making progress on your behalf and Susan helps to convey our message.

Susan has worked extensively in the First District covering stories that took her everywhere from a farmer's field to an industry groundbreaking. She is the former senior reporter for WTVA Television where she was employed for 24 years.

"Mississippians definitely want to be heard," Susan said. "It is a privilege to help our team maintain strong ties with them."

Please let us know how we can help. Our team is ready to assist you.
