Our men and women who serve in the National Guard and Reserve forces are a critical piece of our military and play an increasingly crucial role in keeping us safe at home and abroad. Providing healthcare for all service members is a readiness issue, and our Guardsmen and Reservists deserve access to preventive and routine healthcare.

Recently, Congressman Andy Kim and I introduced the Healthcare for our Troops Act, H.R. 3512. This bill would provide access to no-fee healthcare to over 800,000 members of the Guard and Reserve. To learn more about this important legislation, please click on the link.

Defense Readiness - A Top Priority

Through my role on the House Armed Services Committee and the House Budget Committee, I have had the opportunity to discuss my concerns about defense cuts in President Biden's proposed Fiscal Year 2022 defense budget. We must not allow our adversaries to become better equipped than our troops. Peace through strength must be our top priority. American Conservative union award

It was an honor to receive the American Conservative Union Award for Conservative Excellence. The award recognized my steadfast commitment to America's foundational principles, the U.S. Constitution, and in recognition of an ACU Congressional Rating of 100%.

The ratings are based on my commitment to conservative principles as reflected by my voting record in the 116th Congress. As your Representative, I will continue to advocate for policies that reflect the conservative values of our constituents in Mississippi's First Congressional District.

marshall county workforce training center grand opening

The Marshall County Workforce Training Center opening is great news for economic development in this rapidly growing area. The center will provide hands-on training specific to the needs of numerous employers located in three industrial parks located nearby.
