April 1, 2016

Dear Friend,

This week, I was in the district touring businesses, attending local meetings, and listening to people's concerns. My favorite part of the job is coming home to Mississippi and listening to the people that I represent in Washington.

students

I always enjoy the opportunity to talk with students. As a father of three, I realize how important it is to create an environment in our state that allows our students to succeed. Whether they get a job after high school, community college, or a four-year university, we must ensure our children have the ability to live, work, and raise their families in Mississippi. I appreciate the school administrators and teachers for their hospitality and the students for being engaged.

Fun fact: My wife, Sheila, graduated from Eupora High School
