Dear Friend,
During the month of August, I met with many of you and listened to your concerns and ideas on how to make Washington work for the people instead of special interests. I share many of your frustrations and concerns. Congress goes back in session in September, and there is a long list of important items that must be addressed before the end of the year. The agenda will include, but is not limited to, legislation on the Iran nuclear deal, funding for the federal government, highway funding, and the debt limit. As these deadlines approach, I want to hear your thoughts on the upcoming issues.
