During the second week of the district work period, I continued to travel around the state to meet with constituents. Next week, the House is back in session and I will be in Washington, D.C. for legislative duties.

Trent Harmon, an Amory native, won the final season of "American Idol" last night. Both of the final contestants were Mississippi natives and made us proud.
