Dear Friend,
On this Christmas Day, we have much to be thankful for. Throughout the history of our great nation, American patriots have fought to preserve the freedoms we hold dear.
While our family celebrates the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we will remember the soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Marines who are watching over all of us. They include members of the Mississippi Army National Guard 155th Armored Brigade Combat Team who deployed to Kuwait this summer. The families of thousands of our service members will be without their loved ones in uniform during the holidays. We are grateful for the commitment they willingly make to help keep our nation safe.
Our thoughts also turn to members of law enforcement agencies and to all the first responders who will be on duty over the holidays. We remain thankful for their desire to serve.
Sheila and I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas. May God continue to bless the United States of America.
