Dear Friend,

Thank you for taking the time to read my weekly newsletter.

NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER

Today, as we observe the National Day of Prayer, I hope we can all find peace and contentment through prayer and reflection. We remember how grateful we are to live in a country that protects freedom of religion and the right to speak about our faith. We take time today to thank our Creator for the blessings we have been given and ask for continued guidance. Let us all pray together on this day.

Hometown news

Last weekend, I participated in the 78th annual conference for the National Guard Association of Mississippi (NGAMS). The purpose of this conference is to discuss issues important to military personnel and how to better provide for the security of our great nation. With 30 years of experience in the Mississippi Army National Guard, I was honored to speak in my new role as the First District of Mississippi’s representative.
